His extensive background encompasses business development, engineering, and software development, providing a comprehensive understanding of the industry.

Manuel is the founder and CEO of Xpandglobal Consultants, where he leverages his expertise to advise companies on strategic expansion into new geographies, with a distinct emphasis on the Latin American market.

Previously, he served as CEO of Padtec North America and Padtec SA, a leading global provider of optical transport solutions (DWDM, both terrestrial and submarine. His career also includes significant leadership positions at Xtera Communications, ECI Telecom, and Westell Technologies. Manuel's academic foundation includes an M.Sc in Computer Science and an Electronic Engineering degree, both earned at the Military Institute of Engineering (IME) in Brazil.
